This is a sturdy piece of furniture. It was very easy to put together, the instructions are very straight forward. The finished product really looks nicely done. The drawer is deep but I have a feeling it does not carry too much weight as the bottom feels flimsy so I wouldn't look at this as a storage piece but more as a decorative. If it's a bed side table then it'll work.
